Fascinating shapes, textures and shadow play - that winter light is so crisp and clean. What made you decide to seek out Brutalist architecture in particular? (I'm glad you did)
Thanks Diana. I love concrete architecture. Anything from modernism, functionalism, Bauhaus, brutalism and post-modernism is my go to for architectural photography.
Absolutely, there are so many more interesting things to photograph around here apart from the sea. So much nature, interesting architecture, people too, the city is so diverse!
You're right! I've got this exercise from a documentary photography course that I took, I'll share it soon, it's very helpful to open our minds and eye to the routine.

Nice set! I really like the one where the biker is entering the shadows.
Thanks Dan, that's my favourite too!
It is so interesting to see Brighton from a different side other than the beach front! Thanks for sharing!

Well, I hope to see more of that side of town from you! ☺️
😅 working on it. I'm sure you know how difficult it is to photograph a place that you're so used to see on a daily basis.
I sure do (doing it almost daily), but I also know how rewarding it can be to find something you‘ve walked by so many times before and never noticed!
